This 2.2 acre private island with ocean views located 15 minutes from Nassau by air. Swaines Cay is 900 feet off the Eastern coast of Mangrove Cay, Andros in the Bahamasa. The island is developed with a small 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom bungalow, which sits on a fresh water cistern and its own generator. It has a landscaped area and small dock. This island paradise features excellent fishing, and diving. Also it is within snorkling distance of "Blue Holes", and 1 mile from the Andros barrier reef. Andros Island is the largest but most sparsely developed of all the Bahamian islands. Andros is known as the “Bonefish capital of the world” where fishermen worldwide flock every year to enjoy the best in fishing adventures in the flats. There are ‘flats’ to the west of Swain’s Cay where bone fish can be caught.

Andros is one of the top five places in the world where you can find the deepest and most amazing blue holes and there are three ‘blue holes’ within swimming distance from the Cay. The earth’s third largest barrier reef [after Australia’s Great Barrier and Central America’s Belize Barrier Reef], lies approx 1 mile to the east of Swain’s Cay.

Mangrove Cay has its own airport, Clarence A. Bain Airport. There are four round trip flights per day from Nassau International Airport non-stop (15 minute flights) and the island is approx. three miles from the airport.
